Like the Clouds Break: a small-town story of grief, and love that dares to bloom after the storm
Some storms never break, they just change direction.
Hate is easy. Hate is natural. Hate has consumed Stella Santino.
Five years ago, a massive blackout storm stole Ryder Mason—her first love, and the only person who kept her steady. She’s been broken ever since, driven by two sources: grief as cold as the night he died, and the fierce, burning certainty that Ryder’s best friend, Trev Collins, is responsible for his death.
A powerful and suspenseful finale to the Mount Vernon trilogy, Like the Clouds Break is a devastating account of grief, fate, and the brutal truth that shatters all certainty. Will Stella accept the story she's told herself all these years, or is she destined to chase the brutal truth from the night she lost Ryder, even if it means running straight into the arms of the storm that she’s learned to fight so hard against?

STORY OF AURORA STENULSON
Before writing books, Aurora spent her down time (if you can call it that for a homeschool mom of four) studying Psychology and earning her Bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming. She received a 4.0 and was on the Dean's List and Presidential Honor Roll. Now, she uses her intricate knowledge in mental health along with personal experiences to create heart retching stories as well as teach life lessons to her readers through her characters' relationships.
In 2020 through the draining process of publishing (along with a lot of trial and error) Aurora started the beginning of the first chapter of her professional literary life where her debut novel, The Consequence of Audrey, was born. Since then, Aurora Stenulson has become a fulltime Author, publishing titles such as Four More Words, Like the Sassafras Trees, and Your Drowning Heart.
When she's not curled up next to a space heater drafting the outline for her next book, she's blending matcha tea with her daughters, refereeing wrestling matches for her sons in the living room, and grossing all four of her children out every time she flirts with her husband in the kitchen.
